Award-winning New Zealand made olive oil
Juno Olives are a multi-award-winning olive grove oil and table olive producer based near Greytown, Wairarapa in the North Island of New Zealand, creating single variety extra virgin olive oils, citrus and herb agrumato oils, and fine table olives.
Karen and Ian Juno began planting the first of 1280 olive trees in 2001 and their first extra virgin olive oil was produced in 2006. With a stunning rich green-gold colour, herbaceous, grassy intensity and appealing peppery finish, Juno Olives have gone on to become one of the most awarded olive groves in New Zealand.
Juno Olives' extra virgin olive oil is the first cold press of their freshest olives. The oil contains nothing but the juice of the olive, and is the purest of all olive oils, and are categorised into mild, medium and intense flavours based on fruitiness, pungency and bitterness of the oil.
Juno Olives create also create zesty citrus olive oils using the traditional Italian method called agrumato. Citrus fruits and olives are crushed together at the time of processing, marrying the two fruits in a truly harmonious mouthful.
For the perfect accompaniment to antipasto, pizza, or even just a snack, Juno Olives have a range of table olives. These olives are picked at various stages of ripening, and processed immediately to retain their fresh, delicious olive flavour. Since they're sun-ripened, they have a beautiful natural colour variation.
